from numerous well respected sites and personal experience with information security. This is not a hack site; if you
are seeking hacker tools, then you're at the wrong place. Even though it has some technical detail, this site can be
most useful to everyday home users and small/medium businesses (SMBs) that do not have an IT department with
dedicated security personnel. There are a few large scale resources mentioned and enterprise admins can utilize this
site as a reference too. Many of the tools listed on this site can be downloaded for free, but there is also commercial
software that may include a limited trial period. I’ve used (or at least tested) most, but some of the tools have been
recommended by legitimate third party sources. As far as data security education, this site provides brief summaries
of various security topics, but not enough to become an expert in the field. If you want to understand the basics, this
site may work fine for you. If you want to become an expert, use this site as a reference, but I highly recommend
attending a SANS conference to learn in much more detail. Whatever the case, your comments are welcome and you
can email admin@defendyourdata.com to offer suggestions.
One other note- I’m very careful with URLs (links) that are included on this site and will check them on a very regular
basis. But, I have no control over their content. Some of the sites are heavily ad supported and this site tries to note
that where possible. To the best of my knowledge, none of the included sites have any malicious intent or harmful
software. I use them on my own devices all the time and malware scans have not found anything other than standard
tracking cookies which many website owners use nowadays to see how people are using their site...
